We saw through her behavioral gazette
Legs shaking and arms twitching, we're breathing
Muscles calming, the Lord balming, healing

True nightmares added to lamentation
There were flashbacks with insomnia
Old mechanisms, intense emotions
Persistent lies of the enemy's kind

Detachment, isolation and heartbreak
Persistent lies of the enemy's kind
Avoidance, hypervigilance, no breath

Lord, I'm weary now
You say come to me you tired
Lord, I'm tired now

You say come to me you laborers
Lord, I'm laboring
You say come to me you heavy laden
Lord, I am heavy laden

You say come to me you burnt out on religion
Lord, I am burnt out on religion
I'm worn out, burdened, unsure
You tell me come
Lord, I'm running to you

You bid me to get away with you
Lord, You will recover my life
You bid me to walk with you
Lord, I will work with you

You bid me to learn the unforced rhythms of grace
Lord, here's everything heavy
Here's everything ill fitting
It's all yours

You bid me to keep company with you
Lord, teach me to learn to live freely and lightly

You give me your yoke
It's easy and light
You are gentle and humble
I find rest for my soul

It's a new revalation of
Easy to be in your
Presence

Maranatha
Come Lord Jesus

Bring clarity where there is none

Give me the eyes to see your hand
Change my heart wherever it's needed

Make me uncomfortable
Bring on the conviction

Shift my thoughts
Shake my religion
Shatter my opinions

Cause I want what you want
Even if it costs me everything
It's been considered pure joy

Lord, hold my hand
Be there when I fall

Hug me when I feel
The weight of it all

Keep close to me
As I struggle and weep

When the battle wars in and around me
Remind me the war is already won
The enemy's head has been crushed.

Father, all I want is to please you
And you have brought me deep
Into what it means to be your sheep

Where your pleasure is freely given
Cause your sheep are your children
Your sheep are your Bride
And your love brings salvation.

So Shepherd, get rid of my pride
Take hold of my doubt
Teach me to abide
In all you are about

Helper, Remind me
I'm not alone
I'm not crazy
I'm made worthy
I'm beloved
I'm chosen
I'm free

That freedom was costly.
You counted that cost
You considered it pure joy

The scales on my eyes have fallen
So that I may see your glory

You say "I love you"

You say "I'm proud"

You say "I'm pleased with you"

You say
"Blessed are those who weep now
For you shall laugh"

My laughter is poison
To the enemy's schemes</pre></div><div class="subscription-widget-wrap-editor" data-attrs="{&quot;url&quot;:&quot;https://considerthedandelions.substack.com/subscribe?&quot;,&quot;text&quot;:&quot;Subscribe&quot;,&quot;language&quot;:&quot;en&quot;}" data-component-name="SubscribeWidgetToDOM"><div class="subscription-widget show-subscribe"><div class="preamble"><p class="cta-caption">Consider the Dandelions is a reader-supported publication. I learned of your language
Sweet words from above

From the stage,
Teaching received with
Patient Confusion
Asking questions
Waiting for answers

I remember the day
I heard your language
Sweet words from above

She sent me worship
And I heard it
For the first time
Through the voice
of your daughter
You invited me
Into desire and formation

You told me "I pray for you"
You told me "You have an intersessor"
You told me "I'm praying for you"

Questions slowly
Receiving answers

Days later
I learned your eyes
He read Revelation 1:13-16
Over me
You invited me
Into contemplation

Days later
I knelt at the altar
I knelt at your feet
Your nail scarred feet

I knelt like Mary
pouring my oil out
Anointing your feet
With tears sent from above

You said "I love you"
You said "I'm proud of you"
You said "You are forgiven"
You said "You're mine"
You said "Look at my face"

You showed me the fire
Your eyes of fire
Your eyes that are bright
You eyes that are light

I could see your full face
For the first time

It was only ever
a gentle smile
Before

Your face is glorious
Your face is brilliant
Your face is precious
Your face is magnificent

You poured oil over me
Your oil from heaven
Your generous oil

Your oil drenched me
With gifts from above
Anointing oil

You anointed my head
You anointed my arms
You anointed my voice
You anointed my hands

We spoke in your language
Sweet words from above

Answers turning
To abundance

Answers turning
To Awe

Answers turning
To acceptance

I remember the bright light
Bright light from that night
That night that you changed me
That night that you filled me
The night that we danced
The night that we laughed

We spoke in your language
Sweet words from above

Abundance bringing
Out anointing

&#8220;Is this what I think it is?&#8221;
"Help me forgive him"
"Father please save him"
"What did that mean?"

You said it meant faithful
You said "I love you"
You said "You are healed"
You said "We are one"
You said "I forgive you"

We spoke in your language
Sweet words from above

I cried cause
You trust me
I cried cause
You trust me
I cried cause
You trust <em>me</em>

Anointing founded
In trust

The light from your presence
So overwhelmingly divine
The light from your patience
With effortless shine

You said, "You are mine"

Days later
I knelt again
in your presence
In your love

Father
Spirit
And Son

I spoke in your language
Sweet words from above

Trust forming
New intimacy
A sound mind

You said "I love you"
You said "You're my child"
You said "This is what I have for you"
You said

"Just sit here with me.
There is no work
for you today.
My daughter, Enjoy me"

Each time there were visions
Each time there were words
Each time you excite me
Each time you are there

Each time
You are Bridegroom

Each time
You are Father

Each time
You are Helper

Each time
You are mine

You gave me your language
Sweet words from above

Each time is
"I love you"

The napery smoothed out
The porcelain and silver shining
The chairs side by side
The candle and lantern lights shimmering

Oh Child, There is room for you at the Table of feasting

We weave Prayers together in tears
We encounter Healing together in awe
We anoint Holy Crowns together in reverance
We honor Traditions together in remembrance

Oh Child, There is room for you at the Table of creating

A fresh oath of spring following a frosty winter
In all its brilliance and radiance
Jubilation and celebration
The Son splendidly stains the sky

Oh Child, There is room for you at the Table of dreaming

We banquet in fellowship and Communion
We dance in undignified Delight
We dare in unburdensome Expectation
We rest in preparation for Blooming

Dear Child, There is Room for You at His Table

The melodies engaged softly
The drinks emptied gently
The amusements enjoyed wildly
The tales expressed boldly

Blameless Bride, His Table is Set for You
